The Elephant's Trunk was begun by Victor and Jill Landers in a desire to produce high quality herbal products. Our line of "Clara's Salves" is in memory of our infant daughter, Clara Anna who died July 4, 1995.
The Elephant's Trunk is located in Marthasville, Missouri, and offers salves by mail order and at a few select shows throughout the year.
We offer high quality, all natural, organic salves for topical use on humans as well as veterinary uses. Our salves are all natural, using beeswax and olive oil in our base. The herbs are either grown here on our farm or purchased wildcrafted and organic.
I began soap making several years ago, when Victor and I cooked soap for a German Living History celebration Deutsch Country Days. Since that time I've created many luxurious soaps that are gentle to the skin and pleasing to the eye. Many folks love them so much they use them for decoration!
